They have expanded to several cities across the nation to promote their agenda on what they believe freedom and justice stands for. The idea of remaining anonymous, protecting your identity, and other important information on the web is what makes this type of organization so unique. Anyone could be apart of it, including the people you spend the most time with.Through the use of computer activism, Anonymous has created a culture of accountability for individuals who use their outlet to express their ideals. This culture has helped causes across the country including Occupy Wall Street and the Black Lives Matters campaign. ​

This form of hacker, radical, activism is a foreign concept to most, including our justice system. The way America regulates hacking crimes is fairly outdated up until recent years. The White House has been working on drafting new laws in regards to internet safety, cyber fraud, and punishment for hackers. I believe that Anonymous way of interacting with the public has caused a lot of debate about internet safety and the way it is regulated.
